Twenty20 - India vs Australia

Australia won the Future Cup 2007 series 4-2. Now it is time for Twenty20 action.
This will be a very interesting match to match. India is the Twenty20 World Champions and Australia hold the ODI Championship. India beat Australia in ICC World Twenty20. Can they do it again?

7th ODI - India Vs Australia - Mumbai

The 7th and the last ODI of the Future Cup 2007 will be played on 17th October 2007 at Mumbai. Australia already won the series. But they will sure want to win this also. On the other hand India must win this to save some pride and to minimize the damages. Anyway it will be a must to see match for cricket fans.

6th ODI - India Vs Australia - Nagpur

6th ODI of the Future Cup will be played on 14th October 2007 at Nagpur. It will be a very interesting match. India must win this match if they don't want to loose the series.

5th ODI - India Vs Australia - Vadodara

It was not India's day. After winning the toss and choosing to bat first they were all out for 148 runs in 39.4 overs. MG Johnson bowled superbly. He took 5 wickets for 26 runs in his 10 overs.

It was an easy target for Australia. They scored the required 149 runs in 25.5 overs for the lost of 1 wicket.
AC Gilchrist scored 79 runs.

Australia won the match by 9 wickets to take a 3-1 unbeatable lead in the series. Now India must win the coming two matches if they want to level the series.

4th ODI - India Vs Australia - Chandigarh

Finally India batsmen showed some colors. Not only they suvived the full 50 overs, by doing that they scored 291 runs for the lost of 4 wickets. S Tendulkar scored 79 and MS Dhoni completed his 50 by hitting a Six off the final ball of the innings.

Despite M Hayden's 92 and A Symond's 75, Australia could only score 283 runs in their 50 overs. Harbhajan Singh was the best bowler for India. He took 2 wickets for 43 runs in his 10 overs.

India won the match by 8 runs. But Australia still lead the series 2-1.

3rd ODI - India Vs Australia - Uppal, Hyderabad

After winning the toss, Australia choose to bat and scored 290 for the lost of 7 wickets in their 50 overs. Again A Symonds was the top scorere with 89 runs.

India batting failed again to survive the full 50 overs. They were all out for 243 runs in 47.4 overs. Yuvraj Singh played superbly for his 121 runs.

Australia won the match by 47 runs to take a 2-0 lead in the series.

2nd ODI - India Vs Australia - Kochi

Again India started well taking early wickets. But just as in the 1st ODI, Australia came back strong and scored 306 runs in their 50 overs. A Symond and BJ Haddin scored 87 each and M Hayden helped himself 75 runs.

India batting failed. They were all out for 222 runs in 47.3 overs. MS Dhoni scored 58 and R Uthappa managed 41 runs.

Australia won the match by 84 runs and lead the 7 match series 1-0.

1st ODI - India Vs Australia - Bangalore

The the 1st ODI Cricket Match of the Future Cup 2007 Series was washed away by the rain.

India started the match well by taking two early wickets. But Australians cam back strong and scored 307 runs in their 50 overs.

As the rain washed away the match India were 9/1 in 2.4 overs.
